Laura Starts Her Internship For Youth Mentoring

My name is Laura Lehman, a senior social work major from Minneapolis, attending Luther College.  I love Luther and am grateful for all the opportunities the social work program has given me over the years. I will be interning with Youth Mentoring at Helping Services for Youth & Families for my final spring semester and excited to embark on this journey.

I spend my summers up on the Minnesota Iron Range as a camp counselor, and love the outdoors. This spring, when I’m not at Helping Services, you can find me as a waitress at Good Times Grill in Decorah. 

I am passionate about working with children and feel honored to be here for my senior practicum internship. Stop by and say hello to me at the Helping Services office at 805 E Main St. in Decorah.
