Family Literacy Night

44 families joined for Family Literacy Night!

On Tuesday, February 18th, the TigerHawk Connections Learning Center program hosted its first Family Literacy Night of the year. The theme was “Frozen.” We started the night out by eating “frozen” pizza, applesauce, and drinking water. During dinner, we read aloud the Little Golden Book, “Frozen.” We then had three family-oriented activities that each family rotated between: Letter Scavenger Hunt, Madlibs Challenge, and Hangman/Coloring Fun. We ended the night by cooling off with ice cream. All families went home with the sequel Little Golden Book, “Frozen II,” and lots of cool prizes. We had 10 families attend with a total of 44 people. It was a great success!
