Child Abuse Prevention Month Success

National Child Abuse Prevention Month was in April. Helping Services and Community Partnership for Protecting Children coalitions partnered with local libraries to have blue pinwheel bouquets on their front desk. As well as local courthouses are hosting pinwheel “gardens “on their lawn in support of great childhoods. Family-centered events focused on promoting positive interactions between kids and caring adults took place. Between two roller skating nights, a carnival night, and a bowling night, there was 578 kids, parents, and grandparents who participated to celebrate great childhoods during the month of April.
