April 2025 is Child Abuse Prevention Month
April is recognized as Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month. Pinwheels are used to symbolize childhood joy and playfulness. It symbolizes the child-like whimsy and lightheartedness of a child, a vision that all children should be able to grow up happy, healthy, and prepared to succeed in supportive families and communities.

The Parents as Teachers Home Visits model provides families with evidence-based information about their child’s development and what to expect at the next development stage. Family Educators provide activities for parents to do with their child to promote growth and development. Family Educators are here to help your child to be Preschool/Kindergarten ready!
