Farm Credit Services Stocks Pantry through Generous Grant

A generous grant from Farm Credit Services will stock Helping Services’ food pantry this spring. The $2,000 grant will provide money to purchase supplies for domestic violence clients.

Kathleen Davis, director of the Domestic Abuse Resource Center, excitedly comments,”We will be able to purchase diapers, baby wipes, paper products, cleaning supplies, and non-perishable food items to give to clients of the Resource Center. Many times persons leaving violent situations have only the clothes on their backs. Part of what we do at Helping Services is to first get clients safe and then start helping them build a new life free of violence.”
