Responsible Beverage Server Trainings bring license holders like you together to get updates on laws and regulations that affect your sales. Experienced license holders share their successes and law enforcement answers your questions. Your employees will receive completion certificates which may help you reduce costs of your dram shop and liability insurance.

Retail sellers of alcohol, law enforcement personnel, and concerned adults and parents all have a common goal and responsibility to keep our communities safe and healthy. As responsible business people and license holders, take advantage of these alcohol server/seller training options!  If you can’t attend one of our in-person training sessions, check out an online IPACT training.

More on I-PACT

Inside ABD, employees have created an alcohol compliance training program, with the passage of Senate File 240. The online alcohol training program has been named the Iowa Program for Alcohol Compliance Training (I-PACT).

This program allows employees and prospective employees to go through alcohol compliance training and receive a certificate upon completion.

Make a Pact!

The program asks that a PACT is made for:

  • Iowa kids not to consume alcohol products.
  • Iowa retailers not to sell alcohol to minors.
  • Iowa licensees not to serve alcohol to patrons under 21.
  • Iowa’s law enforcement to enforce Iowa’s liquor laws.
