Domestic Abuse Advocacy

Presentations:

Learn about what “advocacy” means and the forms of domestic abuse.  An advocate will tell you how your generous donations are used and the lives that are touched.

Presentations:

A staff person will present on our four areas of service:  Domestic Abuse Advocacy, Family Education/Support, Substance/Drug Use Prevention, and Youth Mentoring.

Family Education/Support

Presentations:

One of our experienced Family Educators will present an overview of their program, trainings, and reach in the community.  Family Educators provide breastfeeding support, child passenger safety, developmental assessments, healthy home environment checks, infant/child weight checks, resource referral, vision/hearing screenings, parent/child playgroups, and general parent support.

Presentations:

A Prevention Specialist is available to talk about latest drug trends, social host laws, gambling, marijuana, prescription drugs, tobacco, and alcohol use.

Youth Mentoring Program

Presentations:

Mentoring Coordinators are always ready to make another successful mentoring match.  They will tell you about different levels of involvement, things that mentors/mentees do together, and program benefits.

Available Trainings:

Mentors and mentees participating in youth mentoring programs are provided resources, tools, guidance and trainings to help them get the most out of their mentoring relationship.
