Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) for Clayton County

August 18, 2022 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

A Training for Intervention Procedures or TIPS, is a skills-based certification training offered to any local businesses that sell or serve alcohol, and any volunteer organizations or groups that may be selling or serving alcohol.

TIPS is the global leader in education and training for the responsible service, sale, and consumption of alcohol. Proven effective, TIPS is designed to prevent over-intoxication, underage drinking, and drunk driving. The training helps sellers/servers to become more confident and creates a safer work environment and a safer community. TIPS also helps local businesses, and other liquor license holders, by reducing their exposure to alcohol liability lawsuits.

A training will be held on August 18 from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Public Meeting Room of the Clayton County Office Building in Elkader. This training is able to be provided at no cost to local businesses, and other groups who may be selling or serving alcohol, but registration is necessary. For more information, or to register for the training, contact Jenny Rose:  jrose@helpingservices.org  or call 563-387-1720.
