Holiday Lights Walk Through Event 2026

Helping Services for Youth & Families welcomes back the Walk-Through Night to kick off the 22nd season of this beloved Holiday Lights featured event. You are invited to the Walk-through Night on Wednesday Nov. 25th from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Pulpit Rock Campground off Hwy 52 in Decorah. This is your unique one-time chance to walk through the Pulpit Rock Campground and get a sneak peek at the lighted displays before the official event starts on Thanksgiving. Capture some early holiday photos! NOTE: this is the ONLY night guests can walk through the campground due to safety reasons. The drive-through only event runt Nov. 26-Dec.26, 2026.
READ “KNOW BEFORE YOU GO” and get ready for the magical Walk Through Night! We encourage festivity, a spirit of fun, light-up accessories and even… fun costumes! Refer to the parking map – the City of Decorah will close Pulpit Rock Road during the event.

The Decorah Lions Club, Pokey Pete Rides
Santa
Complimentary family photos by professional photographer.
Holiday choirs from local organizations and schools.
A live Nativity scene hosted by St. Benedict Parish- Decorah, Iowa
Parking is available at the soccer fields on Pulpit Rock Rd. Shuttles will bring visitors to the main gate.
