Geocaching Mentoring Event

Come experience Geocaching! A real life treasure hunt that combines outdoor adventure and GPS tracking to seek out “hidden treasures”. We will also be touring the Nature Center.

WHO: All mentors, mentees, and Mentors For A Day are invited to attend.
WHEN: Saturday, October 12
WHERE: Swiss Valley Nature Center, Dubuque County Conservation, Peosta, Iowa
(Located 4.5 miles SW of Dubuque, Iowa off Highway 151 S or Highway 20 W on Swiss Valley Rd)
TIME: 9:15 a.m. meet at baseball complex
Arrive at Nature Center at 10:00 a.m.
Lunch to follow on the way home at Chad’s Pizza in Dyersville
CLOTHING: Casual, layers, tennis shoes, light jacket
All requests for Mentors For A Day must be made by Tuesday, October 8.

TRANSPORTATION: Matches will meet at the Beckman Baseball Complex parking lot off East Acres Street in Manchester at 9:00 a.m., to carpool to the Swiss Valley Nature Center.
Each mentee must be accompanied by an adult and bring their parent/guardian permission slip to participate.
