Gaming: How Can It Be Dangerous Training

Join parents, guardians, caregivers, mentors, and adults who work with youth for a deeper dive into the world of electronic gaming. Facilitator Kathy Schwartzhoff will unfold the differences between gaming and gambling and focusing in on the ages of 6 to 16 year old’s. Attendees will be keying in how gaming could potentially be dangerous. The group will learn about how to to monitor gaming activity as well as ways to protect youth from online predators. Join Jack and Jill on their journey as they make decisions to navigate their way through the gaming world. Will Jack and Jill have the correct information on how to make healthy and safe choices?

This training offers an in-person and virtual format. The virtual format will be via Zoom using the below link. The in-person location will be First Lutheran Church‘s Fireside Room at 604 W. Broadway, Decorah. (Watch for signs on the entrance doors.)
