April 25, 2023 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Young adults (ages 15-20) are particularly vulnerable to beginning a cycle of unhealthy alcohol misuse. This virtual training has been prepared by Luther College nursing students. Key points to be shared are: local, state, and national statistics, the physiological impact on young people, ways to prevent misuse, how to help a friend, and resources. This training will be of special interest to mentors, parents/guardians, college students, health professionals, youth leaders, family counselors, high school counselors, and young adults. You are encouraged to pre-register. Pre-registrants will receive special bonus materials on the topic and reminders about the training.
