Parent Support Groups create a safe environment for caregivers to discuss all parenting topics including discipline, step parenting, divorce, responsibilities, grand parenting, and single parenting. Free daycare is provided as well as a free light meal and free parenting books and materials. These groups are for anyone involved in keeping a child safe including parents, grandparents, foster parents and day care providers. Cracking down on underage drinking in NE Iowa. The Iowa
Department of Public Health determined 23 of Iowa 99 counties have the highest rates of both underage drinking and adult binge drinking. 11 of those counties are in eastern Iowa. The map is HERE.
