Learn how to collect the minimal facts from a child suspect of being a victim of maltreatment. This process will help you gather enough information to make a mandated report.

This free training will help you understand how children disclose abuse and how to properly respond when abuse is reported. First-responders like law enforcement, medical professionals, DHS, educators, counselors and anyone working with children and families are invited to be a part of this training.

This training is offered free of charge thanks to the Child Protection Center at St. Luke’s Hospital and Community Partnerships for Protecting Children (CPPC). CPPC is a commuity-based effort to reduce child abuse, neglect, and re-abuse. All community members are welcome to join our Shared Decision-Making teams.
