Facilitator Sam Howell will unfold the differences between gaming and gambling. Attendees will be keying in on the ages of 6 to 16 year old’s and how gaming could potentially be dangerous. The group will learn about how to to monitor gaming activity as well as ways to protect youth from online predators. Join Jack and Jill on their journey as they make decisions to navigate their way through the gaming world. Will Jack and Jill have the correct information on how to make healthy and safe choices? DESCRIPTION:It is time to be part of a team NOW!!  We invite you to support the 2024 Youth Mentoring Bowl-A-Thon! The event is Youth Mentoring’s BIG fund raiser to raise funds and awareness for Youth Mentoring at Helping Services. Join us to support mentoring by creating a team of 5 members (if you don’t have 5\, staff can put you with others). Each team member is asked to donate or collect $25 or more in donations to support mentoring. Bowling times are Noon and 2:00 p.m. Your business or you as an individual can sponsor the event. If this is done before February 11\, we can advertise your support in our media messages. You can also donate directly to a bowler that you know\, as bowlers can collect donations from others.
