SUMMARY:Outdoor Family Movie Night I Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween
DESCRIPTION:Join us for popcorn and a showing of Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween on October 4th at East Park in Cresco. The Domestic Abuse Resource Center at Helping Services has partnered with CPPC and HAWC to host an outdoor movie night. The idea is to encourage healthy family-focused activities and connect with others in the community.  Activities begin at 6:30 pm and the movie starts at dark.  Bring lawn chairs\, blankets\, and a drink. Children must be accompanied by an adult. MOVIE EVENT POSTER \nThis event is FREE for all but we will accept donations to purchase gas cards for victims of domestic abuse. The DARC serves all victims of domestic abuse\, including children and teens. For more info about child advocacy please call 800-383-2988 to speak with an advocate.

SUMMARY:Fluid Art Paint Pour to help the Domestic Abuse Resource Center
DESCRIPTION:Join us upstairs of Pivo in the Blepto Studio for a relaxing evening pouring fluid paint to create abstract designs. Cost is $30 and includes all materials and instruction. Half of all proceeds will be donated to our local Domestic Abuse Resource Center. We will do a 4×4 tile and an 8×10 canvas. Please reserve your spot by stopping in the taproom\, sending a facebook message\, emailing sa**@********ta.com or calling 563-562-1053. Ages 14 and up are welcome. I will have aprons – but it can be messy so don’t wear your favorite clothes! These paintings will take a few days to dry – so you can pick them up the following week during our open business hours.
