DESCRIPTION:Join us upstairs of Pivo in the Blepto Studio for a relaxing evening pouring fluid paint to create abstract designs. Cost is $30 and includes all materials and instruction. Half of all proceeds will be donated to our local Domestic Abuse Resource Center. We will do a 4×4 tile and an 8×10 canvas. We will also be touring the Nature Center. \nWHO: All mentors\, mentees\, and Mentors For A Day are invited to attend.\nWHEN: Saturday\, October 12\nWHERE: Swiss Valley Nature Center\, Dubuque County Conservation\, Peosta\, Iowa\n(Located 4.5 miles SW of Dubuque\, Iowa off Highway 151 S or Highway 20 W on Swiss Valley Rd)\nTIME: 9:15 a.m. meet at baseball complex\nArrive at Nature Center at 10:00 a.m.\nLunch to follow on the way home at Chad’s Pizza in Dyersville\nCLOTHING: Casual\, layers\, tennis shoes\, light jacket\nAll requests for Mentors For A Day must be made by Tuesday\, October 8.\nPlease RSVP to Ellen if you plan to attend.\nTRANSPORTATION: Matches will meet at the Beckman Baseball Complex parking lot off East Acres Street in Manchester at 9:00 a.m.\, to carpool to the Swiss Valley Nature Center.\nEach mentee must be accompanied by an adult and bring their parent/guardian permission slip to participate.

SUMMARY:Outdoor Family Movie Night I Hotel Transylvania3 2: Summer Vacation
DESCRIPTION:Join us for popcorn and a showing of Hotel Transylvania3 2: Summer Vacation on October 5th at Decorah Softball Field. The Domestic Abuse Resource Center at Helping Services has partnered with CPPC and HAWC to host an outdoor movie night. The idea is to encourage healthy family-focused activities and connect with others in the community.  Activities begin at 6:30 pm and the movie starts at dark.  Bring lawn chairs\, blankets\, and a drink. Children must be accompanied by an adult.  MOVIE EVENT POSTER HERE. \nThis event is FREE for all but we will accept donations to purchase gas cards for victims of domestic abuse. The DARC serves all victims of domestic abuse\, including children and teens. For more info about child advocacy please call 800-383-2988 to speak with an advocate.
