SUMMARY:EWALU Group Mentoring Event
DESCRIPTION:Mentors\, mentees\, Mentors For A Day\, and waiting youth are invited to travel to EWALU to do archery\, low-ropes challenges\, ziplining\, eat lunch together\, and have fun! \nAttendees can travel to the site on their own or travel together via a Townline Bus. Bus riders must be at Helping Services’ office at 9:15 a.m. to depart at 9:30. Those meeting others at the site\, should be there at 10:45 a.m. The day will be full of fun\, rain or shine!  Time at EWALU will be 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

DESCRIPTION:Bullying is a topic that is very sensitive as children need support and a healthy environment to thrive in. Those who are bullied can turn to doing risky behaviors like misusing alcohol\, tobacco products\, other drugs\, and problem gambling. Those who bully may also fall into some of these dangerous behaviors. What can we do? Come and join Sam Jennerjohn\, the Delaware Mentoring Coordinator\, to find out! \nResources\, ideas\, and discussions will be shared. Mentors\, parents\, grandparents\, health professionals\, college students\, educators\, professionals working with youth\, prevention specialists\, and community members are encouraged to attend. \nPre-register ahead of time to receive special bonus materials on the topic and reminders of the training.
