SUMMARY:Howard County Proclamation Signing for National Mentoring Month
DESCRIPTION:January is National Mentoring Month. The Howard County Board of Supervisors will sign a proclamation making it so. At the proclamation signing\, attendees usually share their name and how they are associated with mentoring. Kathy or Colinne share some statistics and stories about mentoring with the County Board of Supervisors. The proclamation is signed by everyone present and the board makes it officially National Mentoring Month in the county. A picture is taken to share with the media. We often get potential mentors that inquire about mentoring after the picture is shared. Everyone is welcome to attend especially mentors\, mentees\, Steering Committee members\, and supports of mentoring.\n\nProclamation information:\n1/16/23-9:00 a.m. at the Howard County Courthouse in Cresco (in the supervisor’s meeting room\, top floor)
