Domestic abuse is one of the most common adverse childhood experiences.

This interactive presentation uses case scenarios to explore symptoms of–and the short and long term consequences of–children’s exposure to a batterer.

Understanding the context needed for children’s recovery, safety planning, and strategies to increase protective factors are covered as key components of effective intervention.
