FULL-TIME FAMILY EDUCATOR
A Full-Time Family Educator position is open at Helping Services working under a grant funded through Early Childhood Iowa. We are looking for someone who is positive, motivated, and passionate about working with families with children birth to three years old. Family Educators need to be willing to become trained in Parents as Teachers curriculum. Minimum education: BA/BS in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Health Promotion, Education or related field or two year degree with commensurate years of experience. PART-TIME PREVENTION SPECIALIST
Do you enjoy working with youth? We have a part-time position which will focus on becoming trained and teaching an evidence-based prevention curriculum in local schools with an office based in Decorah. We are looking for someone who is positive, motivated, organized and passionate about healthier, safer families and communities. TCLC AFTER SCHOOL STAFF
Note: Workers needed for the 2019-2020 school year. We will not be hiring for the current school year which ends in May 2019.
Helping Services for Youth & Families is hiring motivated and energetic individuals to work in the TigerHawk Connections Learning Center (TCLC) After-School Program at the West Union Elementary. Part-time staff will assist the with the general supervision of children in the program. Program hours will be from school dismissal to 5:30 p.m. Monday – Friday. Experience working with groups of children is preferred (example: classrooms, daycare, camps, after school program, child care.) Hourly rate will be based on experience and education.
