West Delaware JEL members set up a table at parent teacher conferences at Lambert this week.  They encouraged parents to sign a smoke free pledge stating “I pledge to protect my children from the health risks from secondhand smoke by making my home and car smoke-free.”  Sixty five parents signed the pledge.  They also let anyone interested in quitting smoking know that they can call Quitline Iowa at 1-800-QUIT-NOW.
