Agency Board of Directors
Express interest in receiving information about the process of Board membership. This regional policy board meets monthly.

Fund Development Committee
This sub-committee of the Board of Directors helps ensure the sustainability of the agency’s programming through by providing technical assistance in the implementation of marketing and fund development strategies.
Holiday Lights, Magical Nights
Holiday Lights is an annual fundraising event for Helping Services. With support from hundreds of community volunteers, Helping Services turns Pulpit Rock Campground in Decorah, Iowa into a delightful, drive-through lighted display show. It opens Thanksgiving night, and is open Thursday-Sunday evenings, concluding on a weekend before the New Year. Through free-will donations, the event raises money that's put back into our programs. This event would not be possible without strong public support. Here are ways that you can contribute:
- Become a display sponsor
- Help with event setup/takedown
- Become a Volunteer Coordinator
- Help plan Holiday Lights events
- Volunteer to greet vistors
