Family Support Network Educational Programs
1-2-3 Magic
This program helps parents learn a consistent and effective discipline strategy with the 1-2-3 counting method. It gets results by focusing on three main strategies: Controlling obnoxious behavior, encouraging good behavior, and strengthening retionships. This program is best designed for children 2-12, and will improve your overall parenting with the benefits of this successfull program. The program is free and runs for 3 sessions. Registration is required.

Becoming a Love and Logic Parent
The Love and Logic Parent program focuses on utilizing consequences to encourage positive choices by children. Parents are encouraged to provide love and empathy in response to failure, wise use of limits, humor and hope to promote healthy relationships. These techniques are adaptable to any age group. The program is free and runs for 5-6 sessions. Registration is required.

Care for Kids
Unfortunately, sexual abuse affects our youngest children. Care for Kids is a child sexual abuse prevention program that communicates positive messages about healthy sexuality to young children. This program is offered to preschools and Head Start centers.
- Healthy sexuality is more than just body parts and actions. It includes feelings, social gender rules,
- Use of dolls to distinguish between the male and female genders.
- Show children that every part of body is good and special through activities.
Strengthening Families*
This six-session educational program is designed for families with children ages ten to fourteen. Parents and youth learn skills such as communication and problem solving to aid them in those difficult early adolescent years. See next upcoming class dates here>>>
