Here are some ways you can help us at work. We encourage you to take advantage of these wonderful opportunities.
•Matching Gifts
•Workplace Giving
•Federal Employees
•City and State Employees
•Private Company Employees
•Company Grants for Volunteer Time
A matching gift can double a pledge. Did you know many companies offer a matching gift program to encourage philanthropy among their employees? And that some companies will even match to spouses and retirees?
By simply completing a matching gift form (on-line or paper), you may be able to double, or even triple, the impact of your gift! Contributions of any amount help us to help others.
The process for submitting a matching gift claim differs from company to company. Some require a completed paper form, others have an online system, still others request that claims be filed by telephone. In any case, if your company does provide a matching gift claim form, please complete it and send it to:
Helping Services for Northeast Iowa
P.O. Box 372
Decorah, IA 52101
Please check with your company's Human Resources department to see if your company offers a matching gift program. For additional information about Matching Gifts, please contact David Runyon at 563-387-1720, extension 105 or by email at drunyon@helpingservices.org.

Federal Employees
If you are a federal employee, please keep in mind that you can give to Helping Services through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), which runs from September through December each year. Whether you donate $1, $10 or more per paycheck, or make a one-time donation, your contribution will go a long way in helping us prevent domestic and sexual abuse, child abuse, provide substance abuse education and awareness, as well as promoting parenting and mentoring programs.
Please look for us in your workplace giving campaign brochure.
